When to hire a lawyer? 5 key questions about hiring a lawyer

Chicago-based attorney David Cappozzi knows first-hand how to navigate a busy city with no shortage of lawyers.

The former Chicago lawyer has been a lawyer for more than 40 years, and has advised dozens of clients in Chicago.

His clients range from small businesses to large corporations.

But he knows the big picture when it comes to what’s most important in a case: the facts and evidence.

Cappozzini told CNN that it is important to hire lawyers who have experience in the law.

“I’m not going to go into a business where you have a lot of attorneys, but I’m going to hire those who are going to be there to help you do the best you can in the most efficient way,” he said.

“When you’re doing something where there’s a lot going on and you’re not sure what you need to do, then it’s a good idea to hire some help.”

Cappoozzi’s advice is not for everyone, however.

For one, many people are wary of the costs involved.

Many are also worried about having a lawyer in the loop who may be biased in a particular case.

“Some people have a different perspective on what the client should do than others,” Cappoozzini said.

“But the bottom line is to look at your facts and see what the facts are and see where you fall on the spectrum.”
